Man seriously injured after motorcycle crash near Kansas City airport
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A man is facing serious injuries after being ejected from their motorcycle.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that around 9:02 p.m. on June 19, emergency crews responded to a highway ramp to I-435 by the Kansas City International Airport with reports of a motorcycle crash.
When crews arrived, they reported that a 59-year-old Leavenworth man overturned on his 2019 Harley-Davidson and hit the roadway.
When the driver hit the roadway, they ran off the left side of the road.
After the impact, the motorcycle hit a post, and the man was ejected.
He was transported to an area hospital and suffered serious injury; the motorcycle was totaled. No further information has been released.
