Raw General Manager Adam Pearce took to social media on Sunday with a preview of what fans can expect on Monday night’s show, streaming on Netflix.
“The 2025 Mr. Money in the Bank Seth ‘Freakin’’ Rollins will be in the house, as will the Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena,” said Pearce. He also promoted the start of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament and hyped the return of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
To top it off, Pearce reminded fans of the show’s main event, a WrestleMania rematch for the World Heavyweight Title between champion Jey Uso and Gunther.

The revelation that Seth Rollins will be in attendance is no surprise. With WWE’s two world champions, Cena and Uso, in the PHX Arena in Phoenix, there’s a significant chance for high drama, as a potential Money in the Bank cash-in by “The Visionary” could happen.
Since May 12, WWE has been promoting Monday’s world title match with almost as much flair as a premium live event encounter. With such advance notice, fans should expect something of significance to go down, especially as it relates to Rollins.
Last week, Sami Zayn issued a grim prophecy with regard to Rollins as he spoke directly to CM Punk.
“If Seth Rollins wins that briefcase, if he wins the contract, this place, it’s over,” Zayn warned. “It turns into something very different. It turns into something unrecognizable.”
Neither Zayn nor Punk was at Money in the Bank to stop Rollins from winning. Now, both must deal with the consequences. Still, salvation may come in the form of the Original — and only — Tribal Chief.
The night before Rollins captured the Money in the Bank briefcase, Rollins addressed fans on SmackDown. He crowed about putting Roman Reigns out of action following WrestleMania, where Paul Heyman betrayed Reigns and aligned with Rollins and his growing army.
“Roman Reigns stood in our way,” Rollins began. “And he is missing in action. Roman Reigns is not coming to save you. Roman Reigns doesn’t care about you. Roman Reigns has never cared about you.”
Rollins’ hubris reads like a foreshadowing of events, one predicted here at Cageside Seats as we pondered 2025 being “The Summer of Seth.”
Based on the events of Money in the Bank, Cena has his hands full with the returning R-Truth. He also has unfinished business with Cody Rhodes — the man he cheated out of the Undisputed Title at WrestleMania, and who pinned Cena on Saturday. A Rollins cash-in on Cena, then, seems unlikely.
Instead, Rollins and his faction are more likely to insert themselves into the Uso-Gunther main event. That could open the door for a shocking return by Reigns, advancing a decades-old storyline and potentially setting up a marquee match for SummerSlam in August.
In 2014, Rollins betrayed Reigns and Dean Ambrose — his Shield brothers — and joined WWE’s power group, The Authority. He went on to win the Money in the Bank contract that year and cashed it in during Reigns’ title opportunity at WrestleMania 31.
Now, Reigns has a chance to rewrite history.
By stopping or sabotaging a Rollins cash-in, he would repay Rollins for costing him the gold in 2015. In aiding Jey Uso, Reigns would take another step toward repairing their strained relationship. Though Reigns has never publicly apologized to Uso for his domineering leadership in The Bloodline, having his cousin’s back at a critical moment could make for a warmer atmosphere at the next Samoan Dynasty get-together.
