What to Watch in May: Your Guide to 130+ Premieres Across Broadcast, Cable and Streaming

To help you anticipate and navigate all that television has to offer across broadcast, cable and streaming, TVLine offers daily, weekly and monthly What to Watch digests, as well as an overview of every new TV show premiering in 2025.

Among new TV releases in May, you have the Tina Fey-Steve Carell comedy The Four Seasons, the J.J. Abrams-created Duster, Alexander Skarsgård’s sci-fi thriller Murderbot, a series adaptation of Judy Blume’s Forever and Librarians spinoff The Next Chapter. Also on tap are new seasons of And Just Like That…, Criminal Minds, Nine Perfect Strangers and Poker Face, the very last episodes of Big Mouth and Transplant, and a revival of Cutthroat Kitchen.

On the movie front, Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively reunite for Another Simple Favor, John Krasinski and Natalie Portman play estranged siblings in Fountain of Youth, and Carell pops up again in Succession creator Jesse Armstrong’s Mountainhead.
