YELLVILLE, Ark. — A 78-year-old man from Mountain Home, Arkansas, has died after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Yellville, Arkansas on Saturday, May 4.

According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Wayne Hector Betham was westbound on U.S. Highway 62 at 9:20 a.m. Saturday when his 2002 Honda motorcycle veered off the roadway to the right.

Betham was ejected from the motorcycle after trying to stop his vehicle. Arkansas State Police then responded to the crash.

Betham was taken to the Baxter Regional Hospital, but he later died from his injuries in the accident.

The next of kin have been notified of Betham’s passing.
